This Uptown station is the most northern stop before the train crosses I-277 from NoDa. — The U.S. Department of Transportation announced a $15 million RAISE grant award to the City of Charlotte for the redevelopment of its’ uptown transit center on Friday. The new facility will create seamless connections to CATS express and local bus services, Blue Line light rail, Gold Line streetcar, and the pedestrian Rail Trail, which runs adjacent to the Blue Line.
